Welcome to Soulflower. The studio is located on the second floor of the Edison Center along Appleton’s beautiful Fox River. Soulflower is a small cozy Art Studio that promotes well-being through art and creativity.

Art is a way of life! And Soulflower provides an inspiring, welcoming space for people from all ages and backgrounds to creatively engage.

Soulflower is owned and operated by Gretchen Wood. Gretchen is a practicing professional artist and educator! The studio is for learning and developing new skills while having fun in a calming relaxing environment!

The studio functions by offering education and providing a space and the materials for the creative spirit to flow.

Gretchen also teaches classes for the Trout Museum of Art, has painted several murals for the Building for Kids, and is occasionally found filling in as a substitute teacher for the Appleton Area School District. She is passionate about promoting ways that art can play a role in wellness for individuals and the greater community at large.
